First EVER blog!
OK, so I'm new to this, but we'll see what happens. maybe you can learn a little about me and i can learn a little about myself as well. i am a roller girl for the derby city roller girls in Louisville, KY. i have done that for about 9 months now and I'm pretty much addicted. my derby name is Mel O'Drama and my number is 5-6-7-8. i graduated with a b.f.a. in performing arts, so the name suits me well. i am a blocker/jammer and i play for the red menace.
epilogue done. . .
tomorrow is our first red menace game against an outside team and I'm really nervous for some reason. we are playing the burning river roller girls from Cleveland. i really think we can beat them, we just have to stick together and work together. communication is key. hopefully we can band together as a team and make it happen! gotta go to bed now, but hopefully i can keep this up and it will make me feel a little less stressed and less depressed. which i feel at times. just depends on the day.
